About Helen

Helen is a somatic practitioner, traditionally trained in craniosacral therapy and Scaravelli-inspired yoga. She holds a master's degree in psychology and will be starting her PhD researching perceptual interventions to address body image disturbance and eating disorders at the University of Sussex, UK in September 2025.

For the past two decades Helen has immersed herself in mind-body practices and since 2018 studied fascia under the mentorship of Dr Joanne Avison. She edited the 2nd edition of 'Yoga, Fascia, Anatomy and Movement', is a contributing author of 'Myofascial Magic in Action', and has produced several fascia-informed CPD courses for movement and bodywork practitioners.

The relationship between body consciousness and mind drives Helen's practice, curiosity, thirst for knowledge, and desire to help others. Alongside her private practice, she currently works as an assistant psychologist in the NHS using interoception-based interventions in the context of trauma recovery and functional neurological disorders.

“I would highly recommend working with Helen, not only does she bring an incredible depth of understanding of the body, but she also has a warm and sensitive approach that made me trust her instantly. I am so grateful I found her.”
